I hope the Galaxy and Disney will come to regret dissing The Acolyte Star Wars show. The Acolyte Disney+ show was a top production with interesting new characters and a fascinating story. Why was it canceled after the first season? Who knows. HoloNet dissing of characters was part of it. Disappointing ratings was quoted. Perhaps it was corporate interest. And it could have been prejudice about something new and different. But regardless of the reasons let me tell you why you should not dismiss this unique and intriguing show. The Acolyte is about a young anti-hero who becomes a follower of a mysterious villain. It all begins with the murder of a Jedi. And it goes back to an encounter decades ago on a remote planet where a group of force sensitive women are in hiding. Their leader is raising two children who call her mother.
