Why I am a Star Wars Fan
What gets me excited about Star Wars is not just one thing. It's the story. The effects. The community. And much much more. George Lucas, the creative mind behind Star Wars, created a whole universe with his expansive story. And since the original first movie the story has expanded not only in terms of content including Prequels and Sequels, shows and novels, new heroes and interesting backstories, but by way of giving characters, places and their gear a believable place in the galaxy far far away. In other words, it feels like it's all real! As a fan, I get immersed in the world of Star Wars, the adventures of interesting characters, and I am fascinated by stunning places and cool vehicles. I care about heroes and underdogs. I want to join the cause of the Jedi to help bring balance. I want to swing a light saber and pilot a sleek star fighter. I feel right when I wear a tunic.
